Student Information and Immigration

The Student Information and Immigration teams, part of the Student Administration Student Affairs function, provide a central point of contact for advice and guidance for students at Oxford.

The Student Information team is responsible for supporting the annual student registration (enrolment) process and administers the admission of Recognised students. The team coordinates the Orientation Programme for new European and international students and student surveys, including the Student Barometer and National Student Survey. An enquiry desk is maintained at the Examination Schools for students to drop-in and ask questions about student matters from 9:00-17:00 Monday to Friday.

The Student Immigration team manages Tier 4 student visa compliance and offers expert advice and guidance on all student immigration matters. The team offers advice to students seeking to apply to stay in the UK to work after their studies. Visa and immigration advice and information is available for staff on the Visa-vis WebLearn site including training courses.
