Assessor Nominations

Chairmen of Examiners, and/or Administrators in support, should ensure that Assessors are nominated and approved for appointment before each period of assessment work occurs. In most cases, this will consist of the following:

  1. Nominating Assessors during Michaelmas term, who are due to mark term-time essays or examinations at the end of that term;
  2. Nominating Assessors during Hilary term, who are due to mark term-time essays or examinations at the end of that term;
  3. Nominating further Assessors during Trinity term, i.e. the main tranche of Assessors who will set and mark Trinity term examinations;
  4. Nominating the final tranche of Assessors who will mark theses/dissertations, as soon as they are identified during the Long Vacation. The nomination spreadsheet is available from the Examiners WebLearn site.

All nominations and queries should be submitted to taughtdegrees@admin.ox.ac.uk.
