Communications

The Communications team is responsible for all Academic Administration Division and Student Systems related communication, consultation and information across the collegiate University with the aim to keep colleagues informed on current work, projects and activities and provide opportunities for feedback.

The team is responsible for developing and implementing an effective and coherent integrated communications strategy in order to strengthen awareness, participation and information-sharing to support these areas. This work includes;

  • Holding briefings, conferences, road shows and focus groups for staff and student groups across the collegiate University
  • Producing a fortnightly News Alert providing brief updates on latest news, key events and deadlines
  • Running a series of induction programmes and staff hour events to aid staff development and provide networking opportunities
  • Development of the Student Gateway and accompanying Student Information Twitter tool.
  • Coordination of Academic Administration Division websites including maintenance of the main Division website and migration support to the new UAS Content Management System. 
  • Producing guidance brochures and advertising literature to introduce new services for staff and students such as Student Self Service.
