International Strategy Office
The International Strategy office is responsible for developing a coherent strategy to promote Oxford’s international relations, global profile and international competitiveness. The work of the office is broad and includes such issues as Oxford's approach to promoting deeper engagement with key countries/regions and international collaborations (research and education). The office also works on gathering information on and promoting international educational experiences for students and the integration of international academic staff and students.
Providing information, advice and support to colleagues across the University in evaluating or launching cross-cutting or large-scale international activities, the International Strategy office undertake large analytic projects to profile Oxford's international links in a given area, make recommendations and facilitate their implementation. The office also acts as the first point of contact for senior foreign visitors to the University and co-ordinates links with the international alliances of which the University is a member.
