Education Policy
Headed by Richard Hughes, the Education Policy Support section consists of the Education Committee Secretariat and supports the work of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education). Responsible for coordinating institutional arrangements for quality and standards activity within the University, the section offers advice and guidance in matters relating to a range of issues including development and review of programmes, programme specifications, examinations and assessment, external examiners, and formulation of examination regulations.
Staff in the Education Policy Support section are pleased to assist colleagues in the collegiate University with any queries they may have concerning academic policy or quality assurance and enhancement matters, or the work of the Education Committee and its Panels (Undergraduate, Graduate and Examinations).
This section also includes the Fees Clerk, who provides support to the Fees panel as well as answering any fees queries.
