Student Information & Financial Support
The Student Information and
Financial Support section provides information and
advice to students and undertakes
central processing for student-facing services. The work of the section is split between;
Student Information and Advisory Service (SIAS)
SIAS is a single central point of contact for advice and guidance for all UK and international students at Oxford. In conjunction with colleges and divisions, faculties, and departments, the advisory service gives general administrative advice and support on all aspects of the student career. Where more specialist advice is required the service will direct students to the relevant information or help liaise with a specialist in that area.

The Financial Support team manage central University hardship funds for both undergraduates and graduates, including the HEFCE Access to Learning Fund, University Hardship Fund, and Vice-Chancellor's Fund. The team also processes applications for study abroad scholarships and provides administrative processes for the Erasmus scheme.
Degree Conferrals
