Guide to systems
The following systems are available in support of student administration:
Details of how to access OSS are available below, for access to the other systems listed please speak to your line manager.

Gaining Access to OSS
To access admissions and on-course student data via OSS or related web interfaces and databases, users must complete an OSS User Access form which your Information Custodian will sign and email to the IT Services Systems Administration team. Find out who your Information Custodian is.
IT Set-up to access OSS
Contact your local IT Support Staff to arrange for your computer to be configured to access OSS. Your IT Officer will need to follow the IT Set-up instructions.
Training on OSS
The Student Systems Training team (within IT Services) provide training and user manuals on OSS and related web interfaces and databases. Training dates and courses are available from the Student Systems Training Page on the IT Services website. If you require read-only access, training is not mandatory but is available if required.
Support using OSS
The Oxford Student Systems Support Centre (OSS Support) is the first point of contact for any staff questions or issues relating to the use of student administration systems. OSS Support will also advise you by email of any planned system downtimes or when performance issues are being experienced. The Systems Availability website page also carries details of planned system downtimes or reported performance issues.
The Student Information and Advisory Service provides support and guidance to all students, including their use of Student Self Service, the registration process, or visa or immigration advice.
