Governance & representatives
Coordination and leadership of student systems strategic development is provided by the Student Systems Programme Board, chaired by Michael Sibly, Deputy Registrar. Regular operational review is provided by the Student Systems Management Group, chaired by Keith Zimmerman, Director of Student Administration & Services, and Programme Sponsor. Under this framework, the development and daily operation of the Student Systems Programme is provided by staff in the Academic Administration Division, working in close partnership with IT Services, and colleagues in divisions, departments, faculties and colleges. The following table outlines the governance structure of the Student Systems Programme.

Tara Jewell |
Head of Communications Tara is responsible for ensuring that appropriate consultation and communication takes place with stakeholders across the collegiate University. Her role involves implementing a strategic and operational framework to ensure effective, timely and integrated change communications activities, defining target audiences across our staff and student body with whom to liaise, consult, strengthen awareness, encourage participation and information sharing. A key aspect of the role is to devise communications networks and vehicles with a focus on improving targeting, quality, efficiency, range and impact, and carrying out appropriate evaluation to ensure objectives are achieved. |

Anne Hall |
Head of Process and Change Management Anne’s role is complementary to that of the Programme Manager. Whereas the latter ensures that the Programme delivers Student Systems that can operate efficiently, the Head of Process and Change Management is responsible for realising the benefits of those Systems by embedding the appropriate processes to use the Systems in the collegiate University. This encompasses both facilitating business changes to exploit the benefits the Systems can deliver and ensuring that business stability is maintained throughout. Anne will work closely with the Implementation Leads on many activities including process review, quality control, testing, transition activities, implementation, as well as the definition and realisation of benefits. |

Denise Conway |
Programme Manager Denise is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Programme, ensuring the efficient allocation of people, resources and skills across all the workstreams. Her role is to monitor proactively the overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate. A key aspect of the role is to ensure the effective co-ordination of the workstreams and their interdependencies, whilst monitoring and managing risks. Together with the Senior Assistant Registrar, she will manage and monitor the Programme’s day-to-day expenditure and costs against budget. |

Catherine Whalley |
Senior Assistant Registrar Working closely with the Programme Manager and the Programme Director, Catherine will provide effective oversight of the financial management of the Programme and ensure that the presentation of financial and other information to the Management Group and the Programme Board supports informed decision-making. She will also work with the Programme Director in the preparation of business cases to secure future funding for the Programme, and with the Head of Academic Data Management in regard to data assurance. Catherine is also the implementation Lead for the Student Finance and Funding workstream. |

Programme Administration Charlotte provides essential administrative support to the Programme. As well as being the main contact point for the Programme, she manages the co-ordination of consultancy bookings with our Supplier Tribal, and supports all the implementation Leads and the team above in ensuring the smooth running of the Programme. |

Student Advisory Group (SAG)
Formed and chaired by the OUSU President to help ensure students are consulted and communicated with. The group has no formal Governance capacity but offers feedback and acts as a forum for discussion, garnering an understanding of student expectations, views and use of emerging technologies.
Student Systems Product Evaluation Group
The Product Evaluation Group's work is now complete. The group was formed to carry out the supplier and product evaluation phase of this programme and to ensure that these activities were understood and supported across the collegiate University.
This group contributed to the recommendations made to Council for the final short-listed supplier and system: Tribal Group's SITS:Vision.
