Examinations, Assessments & Awards (EXAA)

This workstream is led by Professor Peter Millican (Faculty of Philosophy/Hertford College) and includes the Degree Ceremonies sub-group.

The Examinations, Assessments & Awards workstream is focussing on specific areas of student administration and related systems functionality: Public examinations and assessments; results, awards and transcripts, achievement records, examination timetabling, progression of taught-course students; matriculation and degree ceremonies.

The immediate focus for this workstream is on Degree Ceremonies. The first live use of Oxford’s new system will be the graduation ceremonies module to be launched by September 2012. The mapping of the current degrees process has been completed, with discussions now focused on how best to use SITS:Vision to support degree ceremonies activity and the data migration of student records.
