Wycliffe HallBanbury Road. Tel. (01865) 274200 Overview: Wycliffe Hall is a theological college and is a permanent private hall. It is situated in North Oxford about 10 minutes from the University Science Area, and perhaps 20 minutes from the town centre by foot. The College has two disabled parking spaces and wheelchair access to the main building. College Site: The main entrance to the Hall is from Banbury Road which has a paved path for wheelchairs to the main door. There is level access through the door, and from there to two lecture rooms, the chapel and an accessible toilet. The alternative entrance to the Hall is a tarmac path from 2 Norham Gardens. From the entrance it is +4 stairs to the two main lecture rooms. Both have moveable tables and chairs. There is flat access to the chapel, door 730mm. The library is +2, +3 stairs with a door of 680mm. The dining room is -6 stairs. The student’s common room is +8 stairs, a handrail on left. The pigeonholes are -3, +7, +3, +4 stairs, and handrail on right. Accommodation: All undergraduates are provided with accommodation for all three years of their course; all student rooms have phone lines and connections to the University computer network and the internet. The accommodation at 2 Norham Gardens can be accessed from the Norham Gardens entrance. This building has a ramped approach with handrails on both sides, but assistance may be required with the main door; access around the building is generally good. 2 Norham Gardens houses two seminar rooms on the ground floor and one ground floor bedroom There is a toilet and shower nearby. There is space for a wheelchair user to use the toilet, and the shower cubicle is adapted for a wheelchair user.
