The quickest way to get to the Gibson building is to enter the ROQ via the Banbury Road, and pass straight through the Andrew Wiles building (doors are automatic).  Follow the road in front of you, and then turn right to reach the Gibson Building carpark.  The main entrance is in the far left hand corner.  There are two sets of double doors to go through to reach the foyer, and both have vision panels.  The first set is usually propped open between 8am-6pm, and the second set can be opened with a university card using the reader on the right hand side of the door (department members only).

Inaccessible areas

+ more

Office doors have small handles at ¾ height, so might be difficult to open for some, and the lockers in the second floor graduate study space are above the desks, which means that they are inaccessible to anyone sitting down.  On the first and second floors, some rooms to the right of the lift are accessible only via three steps with no handrail.  These rooms are offices for a small number of staff and researchers.
