This building has yet to be fully audited, but there is information available:

This building is partially accessible.  There is no accessible parking available on Banbury Road, so the closest accessible parking to the department is the public Blue Badge spaces on Keble Road, a 5 minute walk away.  However, it might be possible to book a parking space at the Thom Building, so please contact reception@eng.ox.ac.uk in advance to enquire.  There is a lift to all floors, and a café in thwe Holder Building for the use of department members.  The main entrance is not level, no level access is also via the Holder Building.

There is an accessible parking space and a couple of departmental parking spaces near to the building just off Parks Road.  These spaces are shared with Materials, and you do need a permit, so please enquire in advance by contacting reception@eng.ox.ac.uk  or phoning 01865 273000.

The Engineering and Technology building can be accessed through either the Holder building or the Information Engineering building.  From the Information Engineering entrance on Banbury Road, go up the ramp into the building and take the platform lift to the first floor.   The entrance to the Engineering and technology building will be on you right hand side.

To enter through the Holder building, go down the ramp behind the parking space and through the automatic doors.  Turn left to reach the entrance lobby, and then continue right to the end of the corridor to reach the Engineering and Technology building.

To reach the lfit continue right to the end of the entrance lobby, then turn left and continue until you reach the lift on your left hand side.

The standard toilets are also around the corner from the lift on the right hand side (please see floor plan).  Women’s toilets are on the ground and second floors, and Men’s on first and third.

There is an accessible toilet on both the ground and first floor.  To reach the accessible toilet on the ground floor, exit the lift and go around the corner to your right.  The toilets will be on your right hand side.  The accessible toilet on the first floor is in the same place.
