The Careers Service Website

This facility is open to all students and graduates within four years of their graduation. The Careers Service has been used by a number of students who are wheelchair users or who have a mobility disability.

There is a car park with gravel driveway. The Main entrance (stepped +4, +1, +5 stairs,) is at front via the car park. The alternative entrance (ramped) to the left of the building is accessed via the car park and signposted. The accessible entrance is around the back; there is an intercom for assistance. A wheelchair platform lift (width 680mm) takes you down to the back door. The double doors are locked and heavy, assistance may be required. There is an accessible toilet inside alternative entrance.

Presentations are held on the ground floor, which has good facilities: payphone (1300mm to handset) and there is a wheelchair platform lift to first floor facilities which include an ICT desk (reception counter height 740mm; collection counter height 1000mm). There is a fire exit to a 'safe area' for those with mobility problems. Access is good.
