Oxford University Museum of Natural History Website

The Oxford University Museum of Natural History is a 15-minute walk from the city centre and is located within the Science Area. Wheelchair users can enter the Museum via a stair lift at the left hand door; there is a bell to summon assistance. The Lift Access to both the upper gallery and lecture theatre should be installed by Spring 2004 currently there is wheelchair access to the ground floor only. There is easy access round the ground floor for wheelchair users and care has been taken with signage and labelling to allow all visitors to enjoy the exhibits and collections. There is a disabled toilet.
