English Faculty Library

The main entrance to the English Faculty Library is at first floor level via a flight of steps. There is a central handle all the way up.

There is an additional small flight of stairs to reach the library doors, access can also be gained via a staircase from the ground floor (see floor plans)

There is an alternative entrance at the front of the building for users with mobility difficulties. Level access is via a ramp (adjacent to the parking space).

At the door is a yellow phone box that connects to the Porters lodge/library staff (for regular users a key fob will be issued that will open the door).

This entrance leads to a lift that facilitates access within the library.

Regular users will be issued with a key.

Access to the lift and between floors is via library staff office spaces. 

The staff are used to students and library users coming through this space.

There is only one disabled toilet located outside the library,  on the ground floor.

The only way to access it is via the lift to the ground floor (see floor plan).
