Social Sciences Library
Social Sciences Library is home to major collections on social sciences.
The entire library is on the ground floor and is therefore accessible.
There are four University owned spaces:
One disabled space adjacent to alternative entrance
Three additional disabled spaces shared with St Cross and Manor Road buildings
All parking in the St. Cross Building car park is for University car park permit holders only.
Please contact the St. Cross Building Porters’ Lodge on 01865 271481 in advance.

The Social Sciences Library is located in the Manor Road Building.
There is ramped access to the main concourse (external).
There are also 3 steps up to concourse.
The enter the buildings there are revolving doors and a separate accessible entrance along side, cross the lobby and directly in front of you is the library entrance (automatic doors).
Wheelchairs can enter the library via the exit gate.

There is one accessible toilet located beyond the entry gates but within the library itself.
There is a heavy door that pulls towards you and some wheelchair users might find the toilet a bit tight.
If this is problematic there are additional toilets in the building and a porter can direct you accordingly.

There are fixed and portable loops at the issue desk.

Good news! There aren't any.
