Arriving in Oxford

Your tenancy start date will be on a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday only.  Unfortunately your tenancy cannot start at weekends as the caretakers are off duty then and it is preferred that you meet your caretaker when you check in.

Please arrange your arrival in the UK so that you can arrive in Oxford between 9am and 4pm Monday-Friday.  You can only get your keys during these times so if you are arriving later than this you will have to find somewhere else to stay until the following working day.  If you arrive late on a Friday evening you cannot get your keys until the following Monday.

Please contact the Tourist Information Centre on 01865 252200 or visit http://www.visitoxfordandoxfordshire.com/ to find suitable accommodation.

Getting your keys

You have to collect your keys from the caretaker, NOT the Accommodation Office. You can only collect your keys once you have:

  1. Paid the opening account in full
  2. Signed your tenancy agreement.

For security reasons, please note we cannot deliver keys to a college.

When you collect your key from the caretaker he will check and record the condition of the accommodation and the items therein with you.  This is called the inventory.  This is important because your accommodation will be inspected when you leave and all or part of your deposit will be returned depending in its condition then.  We regret that keys cannot be collected by anyone else but the tenant.

These are the caretakers:
