Castle Mill
This property was completed in summer 2004. It is located in central west Oxford at the end of Roger Dudman Way off the Botley Road close to the Railway Station. There is also a new designated cycle track that leads from the site to Port Meadow car park and Walton Well Road. This gives cycle and pedestrian access to Jericho, North Oxford and the Science site bypassing the city centre.
The accommodation is in three blocks (ground to third floors) around a central courtyard.
The accommodation for couples and families comprises 12 studio flats, 32 one- bedroom flats and 18 two bedroom flats. The studio and one bedroom units have a shower-room and the two-bedroom units have a bathroom with a shower. One two-bedroom flat has been adapted to meet the needs of a wheelchair user.
Please note that building work on 3 new accommodation blocks is currently taking place at the back of the site behind Block C, and will be ready to move into during September 2013. For couples and families there will be 26 studios, 90 1-bed flats, and 14 2-bed flats.
