Walton Street

Walton Street is in the centre of Oxford near to the University Offices. They are ideally located within walking distance of the centre of Oxford and many departments and colleges. Please note that although most flats have a shower room inside the flat, there are some where the shower room is down the corridor, but still for the sole use of the tenant.

Please note that all tenancies in this accommodation will be until 31 July 2013 and NO renewals or extensions will be possible.

There is no parking.

Cleaning

Tenants are responsible for their own cleaning.

Computer connection

There is no University network in these flats. Internet access is only available through a USB dongle or mobile phone internet access. There is also a study room with connection points available for tenants to use at 25 Wellington Sq.

Utilities

Tenants pay for electricity by quarterly account. Heating and hot water are included in the rent.

Furnishing/Equipment

Flats are equipped with the basic furniture required, including an electric cooker with four rings, grill and oven and a fridge with freezer compartment. Tenants must provide their own bed linen (including pillows), crockery, cutlery, cooking and household items. There is a Newcomers Club which helps newly-arrived wives, husbands and partners of members of the University.

Heating

The flats have gas central heating.

Laundry

Tenants will have access to University laundry facilities for which there will be a charge.

Telephone

The flats have a telephone line and tenants should contact their chosen provider to get connected.

Council Tax

Tenants do not have to pay Council Tax.
