While cleaners are provided in shared accommodation to do a light clean (generally dust, wipe and hoover) in communal areas, it is the tenants responsibility to keep these are cleaned at all times to be fair on everyone in the house/premises. This involves cleaning the cooker after each time it is used and the bathrooms, etc. Should this not be done then additional cleaning charges will be made to the entire household and the free cleaning service removed.
