25 Wellington Square
This modern four-storey building houses ninety single graduates in study bedrooms, each with washbasins, arranged in clusters of 4, 5, or 6 rooms. Each cluster has a kitchen/dining room and bathroom with shower. There are 81 standard rooms (approx. 12 sq m/130 sq ft) and 9 large rooms (approx. 20.5 sq m/220 sq ft). All the facilities of central Oxford are within a few minutes walk.
Bicycles
There are two lockable cycle cages.
Car Parking
No car parking is available.
Cleaning
While cleaners are provided in shared accommodation to do a light clean (generally dusk, wipe and hoover) in communal areas, it’s the tenants responsibility to keep these are cleaned at all times to be fair on everyone in the house/premises. This involves cleaning the cooker after each time it is used and the bathrooms, etc. Should this not be done then additional cleaning charges will be made to the entire household and the free cleaning service removed.
Computer Connection
The study bedrooms have a computer connection to the University Network. Please note connection must be by CABLE only - WIFI is not permitted.
Utilities
All bills are included in the rent.
Furnishing/Equipment
Tenants must provide their own bed linen (including pillows), crockery, cutlery, cooking and household items.
Heating
The study bedrooms are centrally-heated.
Laundry
There is a coin-operated laundry on the ground floor. It has two washing machines and one dryer.
Telephone
The study bedrooms have a telephone connection, via the University network, which gives free calls to other University extensions. The cost of the telephone line rental and all calls outside the University network (plus VAT) is charged quarterly.
