Walton Street

Walton Street is ideally located within walking distance of the centre of Oxford and many departments and colleges. Tenants share a kitchen and bathrooms (with showers), and separate WC.

Please note that all tenancies in these rooms will end on 31 July 2013 and no renewals or extensions will be possible.

Car Parking

There is no parking.

Cleaning

While cleaners are provided in shared accommodation to do a light clean (generally dusk, wipe and hoover) in communal areas, it’s the tenants responsibility to keep these are cleaned at all times to be fair on everyone in the house/premises. This involves cleaning the cooker after each time it is used and the bathrooms, etc. Should this not be done then additional cleaning charges will be made to the entire household and the free cleaning service removed.

Computer Connection

There is no University network in these rooms. Internet access is only available through a USB dongle or mobile phone internet access. There is also a study room located at 25 Wellington Square for all tenants who live in Walton Street.

Utilities

All bills are included in the rent.

Furnishing/Equipment

The rooms have the basic furnishing ie bed and desk and chair etc but tenants must provide their own bed linen (including pillows), crockery, cutlery, cooking and household items.

Heating

Houses have gas central heating.

Laundry

There is a laundry room with a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer nearby.

Telephone

There is no landline telephone access.

Council Tax

Tenants do not have to pay Council Tax.
