Graduate Housing Accounts - please direct all financial enquiries to the Graduate Housing Accounts Office. The connection and disconnection requests for University telephone lines, within Graduate Accommodation, are also handled by this office.
Cycle thefts in the University

Print off and complete the Extension Application form and Payment form. Please complete and attach all required documentation and bring in your paperwork to the Graduate Housing Office. Emailed Extension Applications will NOT be accepted.
Please note there is NO guarantee that your application will be approved.

Overnight guests - single tenants
Single tenants are allowed to have a guest to stay for a maximum of two nights each week, provided that the guest is signed in to the accommodation prior to arrival. Tenants are required to email or hand in the Overnight guest request form (34kb)
Visitors - Couples and Families
We provide accommodation principally for graduate students. However, if you live in a flat and wish to have visitors you must ask permission in advance from the Graduate Housing Office. The maximum period that visitors can stay with you is 3 months. You will need to provide the following information:

The University insures the premises and furniture provided against damage or loss by fire but tenant's private property and cash are not covered by this insurance policy. It is strongly recommended that you insure personal property including bikes. For information on companies that provide insurance, please contact OUSU. You might also check with your bank to see if they have any policies for insurance.

To activate your telephone line you need to telephone BT on 0800 800150. Please note you may be charged.

The Mansion (Court Place Gardens)
You will be asked to sign a form asking if you would/would not like the telephone line and this will be done when you sign the tenancy agreement at the Accommodation Office. This does not apply to flats with BT lines.
Should you choose to have a television in your home, it is your responsibility to acquire a TV licence. Students requiring further information should contact TV Licensing on 0300 790 6090. To find out about the many ways you can pay for your TV Licence, including Direct Debit, visit www.tvlicensing.co.uk/studentinfo. You can also claim a refund for unused quarters already paid for.
Please note that external aerials or satellite dishes are not allowed on University property, except at Court Place Gardens. You will need to secure an internal aerial.
