ASUC committees

Each of the departments in ASUC has a governing body prescribed by University Statute or Regulation and, in addition, there is a committee to support the Pro-Vice-Chancellor in coordinating strategy across the group. These operate in concert with the University’s wider governance structure to ensure the effective management of the ASUC Group in support of the University’s academic, heritage and outreach responsibilities.

Though the University's central ICT departments have moved within UAS, pending implementation of a new governance structure ASUC Officers are continuing to support the related committees.

The committees listed below are chaired ex officio by a Pro-Vice-Chancellor (except for the OUCS Management Committee) and supported by ASUC’s Secretariat. The remainder of ASUC departmental committees involve fewer University-wide issues and are supported within the relevant department.
