How do I get a University Card?
Oxford students
- New graduate students will be sent the University Student Contract by their College, which contains the University Card application form. Please return it to: AC Returns, Examination Schools, High Street, Oxford OX1 4BG. Your University Card will be available for collection from your College administrator when you arrive.
- Undergraduates will be sent the University Student Contract by their College, which contains the University Card application form. Please return it to your College. Your University Card will be available for collection from your College administrator when you arrive.
- Registered visiting students and matriculated non-award students will be sent the University Card application form by their College. Please return it to your College. Your University Card will be available for collection from your College administrator when you arrive.
- Recognised students will be sent the University Student Contract by their Department, which contains the University Card application form. Please return it to: Student Information & Advisory Service, Examination Schools, High Street, Oxford OX1 4BG. Your University Card will be available for collection from the Student Information & Advisory Service when you arrive.
If you notice that your University Card holds incorrect details, please contact your College or Departmental administrator who will arrange for it to be amended.
Staff and visitors in Colleges and Departments
Your College or Department administrator will provide you with a University Card application form. Your administrator will send your completed form to the University Card Office once it has been authorised. You will be able to collect your University Card from your administrator once your application form has been processed by the Card Office. You should not have to wait longer than three days. We try wherever possible to send cards out on the day a request is received, however, applications may be delayed if information on the form is unclear or missing. If you notice that your University Card holds incorrect details, please contact your College or Department administrator who will arrange for the card to be amended.
Members of Congregation
The University Card application form for new members of Congregation has been incorporated into the application form for Membership of Congregation and is available from your College, Department or the University Card Office. After completion and authorisation the application form should be sent to the University Card Office. Your University Card will be sent directly to you at your College or Department.
