Oxford Active: Active Camps
Active Camps provide school holiday camps for children. Whether your child wants to join us for one day, one week or the entire holiday, our wide range of fun and exciting activities will be something they remember forever.
Our camps are located in local schools with fantastic facilities – both indoor and out. Combine that with our vast array of equipment and activities and your child will be envy of all their friends…if they’re not already on the same camp!
Our activities change daily, weekly and monthly so your kids will never get bored. Drama and dance, arts and crafts, all types of sport both traditional and wacky, assault courses, archery, canoeing, swimming, outdoor pursuits, gladiators, cooking, music, tug of war, bush craft and Paralympics are just some of the things your child could get up to.
The activities offered give children the chance to learn and experience new things that might not be available to them throughout the school year. It can be a life-changing experience that helps children to grow physically, mentally and socially – all whilst having fun!

Oxford Active are offering Oxford University staff a special daily rate of £23.50 per child (normal rate £27.50) at their Cherwell School, Chipping Norton and Banbury holiday camps. Bookings must be made 2 weeks in advance. Childcare vouchers are also accepted. Phone 01865 594325 for the discount quoting OU2013. Create Holiday Club Oxford Montessori Schools (Forest Farm)
'Create' has now been successfully running for over 5 years. We employ qualified teachers, so the children can learn as well as have fun at the playscheme. ‘Create’ takes place at Forest Farm, our farm school environment in Elsfield. We cook, paint, walk, take part in drama, music and dance, learn bushcraft skills and care for animals (our ponies, hens & peacock). Our history teacher Taryn leads special workshops during the summer holidays and, as she is also a costume maker, the children are able to dress up in period costumes. Summer is here at last and we are booking now for the Summer weeks at St. Michael's with lots of creative activities on offer: sewing and making; drawing and painting; papier mache model making; and lots more.
Our exciting outdoor camp activities include: nature play; shelter building skills; swings and using tools; camp fire marshmallows at the end of each day!
July 29th/30th/31st/1st /2nd August (5 days) and our second week is August 27th - 30th (4 days) 2013
£32 per day per child - 9.30am - 4.30pm // Ages 6 - 12 years
