The conditions which apply to this scheme are:
-
Vouchers can be used for children up to the age of 16. Children are cared for in registered childcare setting (includes nannies etc)
-
Parents must have a contract of employment with the University.

Benefits of Childcare Voucher Scheme
Up to £243 per month can be deducted from your salary and paid directly to your childcarer. You will save money by not paying tax or national insurance on this amount. If both parents work for the University, both of you can claim.
If you are paying for childcare which fluctuates monthly, because your child is at school and therefore you have higher childcare expenses in the holidays, you can still join this scheme. See the FAQs for details or simply contact the voucher helpline 0845 3652999.
