Election News: Trinity Term 2013

Of the 62 vacancies advertised for election on 6 June 2013, five were contested, 51 were uncontested, and 6 lapsed.

The results of the contested elections are now available: Council (Humanities and Social Sciences), Council (Non-Divisional, 3 vacancies), Curators of the University Libraries.

The following six vacancies have lapsed:Nominations Committee (1 vacancy), Humanities Divisional Board (1 vacancy representing English), Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Board (1 vacancy representing Engineering), Board of the Faculty of Law (1 vacancy for an official member of the faculty), and Board of the Faculty of Philosophy (2 vacancies).

The nomination period for these elections closed at 4 p.m. on Thursday 9 May. All valid nominations received were published on-line and in the 16 May issue of the Gazette.

The results of the contested election to the Nominating Committee for the Vice-Chancellorship are now available on-line and will be published in the 20 June issue of the Gazette.

The nomination period for this election closed at 4 p.m. on Thursday 16 May. All valid nominations received were published on-line and in the 23 May issue of the Gazette.
