Who should I tell?
Information about a disability or long-term medical condition is confidential information which will not be shared without your permission.
If you do not tell the university about your disability, we may not be able to give you any help you need.
Please tell us as soon as possible, since we may not be able to make arrangements at the last minute.
Staff
- Tell the university for monitoring purposes by completing the Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form you are sent during recruitment. The University is planning to introduce a Single Sign-On system to enable current staff to change their data.
- Tell your manager if you are a member of staff.

Students
- We may be aware of your disability if you noted it on your UCAS form.
- We recommend that you tell your college tutor about your disability.
- Colleges and departments have a named Disability Contact, who can advise you.
