Oxford's Equality Objectives
The University has published the following high level objectives for 2012. The objectives will be amplified and refined and associated targets set following a period of consultation and additional data gathering. The equality objectives will also be embedded in the ongoing work to revise the University’s Strategic Plan.
The Equality and Diversity Panel will consult on a new single equality strategy for the University and determine an optimum reporting strategy for the future.
Staff
- Increase the proportion of women in senior roles;
- Improve the recruitment and retention of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) staff;
Students
- Achieve the equality-related objectives set out in the University’s agreement with the Office for Fair Access.
