Networks

Networks are a way to get to know people with a shared interest. Below are some examples of current Oxford networks for staff.

Networking for students largely takes place through student societies.    The Equality and Diversity Unit works closely with the Oxford University Student Union (OUSU) and groups such as CRAE, the Campaign for Race Awareness and Equality.

All staff

All University staff are welcome to join the EDU’s virtual Staff Advisory Group. The group was formed in Michaelmas term 2015 as a way of gaining staff feedback on issues that can have an impact on equality and diversity at the University. The group acts virtually rather than by meeting in person, making it easier for people to take part. There is also very little time commitment as we simply ask you to complete a brief online survey once a term. Anonymous survey feedback will be added to that received from other sources, including the other staff networks, to highlight areas where we need to engage more with staff or bring forward proposals for change.

Please see the virtual Staff Advisory Group webpage for more details or contact Sara Smith if you would like to take part.
