Information Management

The Information Management Team manages and maintains property and space Information for the complete Estates Services property portfolio: the functional estate, graduate accommodation and the commercial Estate.

A wide range of records are held, in a variety of formats ranging from hard copies such as microfiche slides and historic paper records, to more modern CAD drawings and BIM (Building Information Management) models. These include infrastructure records such as the University data duct network.

The team also provides reporting and analysis of information held by Estates Services to internal and external stakeholders, including key annual reports such as the Estate Management Record return.

The team supports many others within Estates Services as well as stakeholders across the wider University by providing information, advice and guidance on operational and ownership queries relating to University properties, dealing with such matters as diverse as insurance replacement values to the location of external services.
