Sustainability Steering Group
The remit of the Sustainability Steering Group is to make recommendations to Buildings and Estates Sub-Committee, Planning and Resource Allocation Committee of Council and the Conference of Colleges on the development of the University's Environmental Sustainability Policy and the targets that it should adopt within each of the policy's areas.It advises on the actions required by the University to achieve the proposed targets, monitors progress against the agreed targets, and annually makes reports on its findings to BESC, PRAC and the Conference of Colleges. The Group also monitors national and international legislation and policy developments, and advises on their implications for the collegiate University.
