Liz and her team provide professional facilities management help, advice and support to the University. Liz reports to the Director of Estates and is responsible for the delivery of Facilities Management across the University, recommending value for money services that work well and match department requirements. Liz provides support and advice on Capital Projects regarding facilities management issues. Projects range from developing a full Facilities Management strategy to advice on ‘soft’ finishes. Recent work has included the development, agreement and implementation of a Facilities Management strategy for the ROQ site. Lisa is Deputy Head of Strategic FM and has worked for the University for 10 years. She is also responsible for the management of two of the University’s most prestigious buildings - the Examination Schools and the Sheldonian Theatre, as well as the University Messenger Service.
Lisa’s particular areas of expertise are Health and Safety, space planning and design. Lisa is a Certified member of The British Institute of Facilities Management.

George is an experienced Facilities Manager, having managed University sites for 17 years. During this time he has looked after a variety of new and Grade II listed buildings including libraries, teaching spaces, laboratories and commercial tenants. George is a University trainer in the use of local emergency evacuation equipment, and a member of the Institute of Leadership and Management and the International Institute of Risk Management.Karen Brading

Karen is a Senior Facilities Manager who has worked for the University for five years; previously with the Department of Public Health, part of the Medical Sciences Division on Old Road Campus. Karen ensures that the buildings under her responsibility are fit for purpose both in terms of being legally compliant and a pleasing environment for those who use the buildings. The constituent parts of her Facilities team are House Services, Facilities Helpdesk and Support, the Mailroom, Reprographics and Central Records all of which are based in Wellington Square.
Karen is a member of The British Institute of Facilities Management.

As Event Manager for the Examination Schools, Kay is responsible for securing and facilitating external events which take place outside of the times the building is used for academic purposes. Kay also manages a significant number of University events that take place in the building, the largest being Freshers’ Fair at the start of each new academic year.Maggie Burge

Maggie is responsible for staff management at the Sheldonian Theatre, the general maintenance of the building, overseeing the events diary and liaising with the promoters who hire the building for concerts and lectures. She also ensures the smooth running of the University ceremonies such as Encaenia and Degree ceremonies. Maggie’s specialities are Health and Safety, in particular Fire Risk Assessments, diary management and event organisation.
