Lectures and Event Management
Departments may be responsible for running and managing lectures and commercial activity within buildings. The Estates Services FM team manage a number of buildings where both academic and commercial revenue generating activity takes place.

- Set up rooms in a particular layout and tidy them up after use
- Set up AV equipment within lecture/meeting room
- Provide guidance on developing external business
- Provide IT software to manage external and internal room bookings
- Provide IT software to manage the supply of catering for room bookings
- Provide guidance on the event management process and relevant documentation (terms & conditions, booking forms, deposit payments)
- Manage booking income and profitability
- Ensuring relevant licenses are in place for commercial trading
