Graduate Accommodation Office relocates to city centre

The Graduate Accommodation Office has moved to 6 Worcester Street from its previous base in Summertown.

The office is the base for the team’s accommodation officers, who help guide graduate students through the process of applying for and moving into (and out of) their accommodation. In conjunction with the team of caretakers, who are based at the accommodation sites, they also arrange any necessary maintenance and deal with health and safety or security issues during students’ tenancies.

Katie Scheinkonig, Head of Graduate Accommodation, says: ‘Our new offices are very close to the train and bus stations, as well as being nearer to colleges, departments and the city centre, so we hope the students will find it a much more convenient location.’

The Graduate Accommodation Office lets and manages rooms, flats and houses specifically for students working for a second degree, for whom College accommodation is not available.  Totalling 823 accommodation units, these are located at eight sites owned by the University in and around Oxford City Centre.  For more information visit the website at www.admin.ox.ac.uk/graduateaccommodation.
