Departments have a responsibility to ensure they work within University regulations for purchasing and finance. The Estates Services FM team work in conjunction with the Purchasing Department to ensure you get the best value for money.

Our services

  • Help departments put together specifications for building related purchasing

  • Co-ordinate building related purchasing with other departments to reduce costs and therefore save individual departments money

  • Support tender processes

  • Plan, manage and report on the budget for building running costs
  • Identify opportunities within the FM remit for joint procurement and/or service delivery
  • Develop strategies for delivery of identified opportunities
