easitOXFORD

What is easitOXFORD?

easitOXFORD is a discount scheme being offered through a new partnership between Oxford University and easitOXFORD, an organisation that supports businesses by offering their staff sustainable transport solutions for their journeys to work. easitOXFORD is currently offering members a 15% discount on certain tickets on routes travelling into (and returning from) Oxford served by First Great Western (FGW) and other network carriers operating across the FGW network (see diagram here).

This is the first of a number of travel initiatives to launch through this partnership and is on trial until September 2013.

Who is entitled to this discount?

Staff of all easitOXFORD organisations travelling to Oxford Station. You must be able to present an easitPHOTOCARD complete with your photo and easit hologram sticker when purchasing all discounted tickets.

This initiative will be available until 30 September 2013. Extension beyond this date will depend on First Great Western seeing an increase in the volume of tickets purchased.

How does the scheme work?

What type of tickets does the 15% discount apply to?

Peak and Off Peak Tickets (Single and Return), Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Season tickets are included within the discount scheme.

Refunds

Car Share), will I be able to get a refund?

Tickets purchased at the easit discounted rate carry the same Ts&Cs as a normal rail ticket.

How to assemble your easitOXFORD discount card

Step One:

Insert passport photo into space provided. When taking in a booth, place yourself slightly above the mark for eye level. This is because you have to also insert the easitHOLOGRAM.

Step Two:

Place the easitHOLOGRAM on the bottom right corner of your photo, ensuring it doesn’t obscure your face or the barcode.

Step Three:

Write your name in space provided (not your signature). Step Four: Slowly peel the paper cover from the laminate and stick down.
