Special Regulations for the Preliminary Examination in Computer Science

A

The subject of the examination shall be Computer Science.

The syllabus and the number of papers shall be as prescribed by regulation from time to time by the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences Board.

  1. 1. Two papers shall be set in the examination.
  2. 2. Paper 1 shall be on the topics prescribed for papers CS1 and CS2 of the regulations for Honour Moderations in Computer Science.
  3. 3. Paper 2 shall be on the topics prescribed for papers CS3, CS4 and M1 (CS) of the regulations for Honour Moderations in Computer Science.
  4. 4. Each paper will be of three hours' duration.
  5. 5. All questions set shall be of a straightforward nature.
