Procurement Strategy

The University’s current Procurement Strategy runs from 2013 to 2017. The purpose is to set out a medium-term strategy for the delivery of procurement arrangements across the University and objectives for success.

The Procurement Strategy has been developed along six strategic aims:

  1. Delivering Advanced Procurement Solutions
  2. Improving Strategic Relationships
  3. Enhancing Commercial Skills
  4. Embedding Sustainable Procurement
  5. Driving Collaboration
  6. Improving Purchasing Process & Systems

Specific yearly implementation plans are developed against this strategy and delivered by the University Purchasing Department.
