Quarterly Reporting
The University has a monthly reporting cycle as detailed in Month-end Reporting. It also formally reports its results on a quarterly and annual basis to PRAC and Council. Certain allocations are completed at quarter-end. For example quarterly trusts pool income is posted onto Oracle Financials.
At the end of each quarter, quarterly trusts pool income is posted onto Oracle Financials.
1. Follow month-end process
Departments should follow the month-end reporting process as usual.
2. Generate quarterly results
The Financial Reporting Team will generate a set of quarterly results on a divisional basis which will be sent to Divisional Financial Controllers on the 9th working day of the month after quarter–end. The Finance Division will generate a commentary and discuss the results with the division/departments.
After review, the Head of Financial Reporting will generate the supporting commentary before submitting the results to PRAC.
