Public Transport


There are numerous bus services which operate around the city.


Oxford railway station operates mainline train services  to and from London Paddington, Reading and Manchester.  The newly opened Oxford Parkway Station also operates a fast and direct service to London Marylebone. 

Park and Ride

There are a number of Park and Ride schemes operating in Oxford.


There are numerous dedicated cycle routes within Oxford.  The Sustrans website also contains useful information on the national cycling network.

Traveline can be a useful tool for planning your journey to or from Oxford by bus, rail or coach.



Parking permits are only available at Court Place Gardens, Summertown House, and Alan Bullock Close and are subject to availability. At all other Graduate Accommodation sites permanent parking is not available.  It is however usually possible to park temporarily nearby while offloading belongings.

There is no parking at the Graduate Accommodation Office but there is a Pay and Display car park (Worcester Street) within two minutes’ walk.
