Information & Communications Technology Committee

In Trinity Term 2007 Council approved the creation of a new ICT Sub-committee of PRAC to replace the ICT Committee, as recommended by the ICT Strategy (finalized in 2007), the collaborative development of which has been extensively documented. The necessary changes in regulations were published in the Gazette on 11 October and came into effect on 26 October 2007, abolishing the ICT Committee (including its sub-committees).

The ICT Committee was created, with its sub-committees (the Strategy Sub-Committee and the OUCS Sub-Committee) as part of the implementation of the IT Strategic Framework (1999) and came within the remit of the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research, Academic Services and University Collections, who was formally its chairman.
