Latest news:

FROM 1ST FEBRUARY 2010, if you wish to make an application for a Tier 4 (General) Student Visa from within the UK, the transitional arrangements for evidence of funding are removed. Please see the UKCISA guidelines or the relevant section of the Tier 4 (General) Policy Guidance for further details.

ON OR AFTER 22ND FEBRUARY 2010, if you wish to make an application for a Tier 4 (General) Student Visa from inside or outside the UK you must obtain a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). This is a unique online reference number issued to you by the University as your Tier 4 Licenced Sponsor. Visa Letters will not be acceptable on or after this date and your application will be rejected. If you have already been issued with a Visa Letter and will not be using it by 21st February, please contact your college (undergraduates/visiting students) or your department (graduates/recognised students) to arrange for a CAS to be issued.
