Microsoft Academy E-learning package
The Microsoft Academy E-learning package covers Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2007. Each course is broken down into one-hour sessions which range from basics to advanced topics. The courses, to the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist standard, use a mixture of demonstrations, quizzes, simulations and exercises to cover the topics. Anything from one topic of interest to the whole course can be followed.OUCS facilitate this service. A full list of available courses can be found on the OUCS web page.
To use the courses the following is needed:
• in order to complete the exercises - Microsoft Office 2007 installed on the user's pc
• to gain access to the package -
• an Oxford Single Signon username and password
• an access code for the application
To get the access code visit the OUCS web page, Codes for MS IT Academy Courses and, under the heading ‘Microsoft IT Academy Courses and Access Codes’, select the Microsoft application of your choice.
