Departmental Administrators Project
In mid-2007 the Registrar initiated a wide-ranging Departmental Administration Project (DAP) that aimed to build upon earlier work and improve all aspects of the support provided to departmental administrators.
The guide to the recruitment and selection of departmental administrators, the guide to their induction and probation, and the DAP manual resulted from the project.
Further outcomes of the project are the termly meetings between the Registrar and departmental administrators, the current professional development review procedure for departmental administrators and regular surveys of departmental administrators' career development aspirations.
On-going DAP initiatives are overseen by Kate Butler, who also organises the Registrar's termly meetings with divisional secretaries and departmental administrators.
