Calculating holiday entitlement
Departments may not vary the University's approved leave entitlement other than in discussion with Personnel Services.
The online holiday calculator (see documents) is available to assist in the calculation of annual leave. This calculator may be used to calculate leave for part-timers, starters, leavers (part-year calculations), term-time only workers, casual workers and someone changing their hours during the holiday year. The calculator should be used in conjunction with the other guidance in this section for the relevant staff group and only in situations where the standard terms and conditions for the grade are applicable.
