Record-keeping
All records relating to recruitment and selection exercises should be retained for at least six months (and no more than 12 months). Information to be retained should include:
- applications
- references
- shortlisting notes
- interview notes for all members of the selection panel
- selection test paperwork
- any other documentation provided by candidates (copies of qualifications, etc)
After this date paperwork should be securely destroyed (for example by shredding)
Work permits - Record keeping responsibilities for sponsors of Tier 2 and Tier 5 migrants.
