Guide to effective recruitment advertising
This guide is intended to assist University departments to target recruitment advertising more cost effectively, particularly through the use of web-based advertising. It also supports the introduction of e-Recruitment as part of the implementation of new HR information system.
This guidance relates to the recruitment of support staff and academic-related staff. Whilst many of the same principles apply, specific guidance is provided on advertising academic posts.
Where appropriate, the guide links to additional information on related areas of employment policy. A quick reference Advert checklist (printable)
