Work permits
If you think it is likely that you will want to apply for Tier 2 sponsored work permit for the successful applicants you must ensure that you meet the advertising requirements stipulated by the UK Border Agency. Further information can be found on the Work Permits website.
Departmental administrator vacancies
Normally, Personnel Services is involved in, and approves appointments to, academic-related posts carrying responsibilities for departmental administration. Your Personnel Officer should therefore be contacted, in the first instance, as soon as such vacancies arise. See additional guidance on the recruitment and selection of departmental administrators.
